Thomas, Donald C, Jr. age 74 passed away on June 17, 2012. He was the beloved husband of the late Catherine M. (Manion) Thomas.

Born in Mount Clemens, Michigan, he was the son of the late Donald and Elizabeth (Roberts) Thomas.

Before retirement, Mr. Thomas was employed as a technician for many years with New England Telephone, retiring in 1994.

Mr. Thomas had an interest in music, and he also enjoyed restoring musical instruments.

He was the loving father of Donald C. Thomas III, William J. Thomas, Michael J. Thomas, Karen A. Thomas and Julie M. Melvin. He was the brother of William and Joseph Thomas, and grandfather of eight.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10 am in St Paul Church in Cranston.

Interment will follow in St. Ann Cemetery.

Visitation Thursday from 4 to 8 pm, in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith St., Providence.
