Jo-Ann L. Buxton, 51, of West Warwick, passed away on Friday, June 29, 2012 at her home. She was the wife of George R. Buxton, III. They have been together for 33 years, and married for 22 years.

Born in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Joan (Conway) O’Neill.

She enjoyed going to Iggy’s Restaurant in Oakland Beach in Warwick, and loved spending time with her family. She was a loving and caring person who will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her three children, George R. Buxton, IV, of Providence, Thomas J. Buxton, and Barbara J. Buxton, both of West Warwick. She also leaves her loving dog, Roxanne.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, July 7, 2012 at 10:00 am, in Saint Patrick Church, Smith Street, Providence, to which relatives and friends are invited. Burial will be private. Visiting hours will be respectfully omitted. www.boyleandsonfuneralhome.com
