Dear Cathy, Stu, Lindsay and family:

Stuart was a bright light and a shining star. The first day I met him, I could sense what a wonderful person he was. I wanted to rent the apartment sight unseen because I knew he would be a wonderful landlord, which he was. He was so kind and good to me; always took care of problems without a question. I can see his wonderful attributes handed down in young Stuart. My heart goes out to all of you and I am keeping your family in my thoughts and prayers. I feel a part of him is here in the house and I take comfort in knowing that!

May God send the Holy Spirit to all of you to heal your hearts and give you peace.

Love to all, Jonna

My deepest sympathies to the entire Cowen Family. As you come together to mourn the loss and celebrate the life of your dad and husband, remember the laughs you shared, the adventures you had, and the love that made you strong.

Please accept our deepest sympathies in the passing of Mr. Cowen. He was a man that many found easy to look up to. Always there for his family and friends, "Big Stu" possessed the uncanny ability to seamlessly be the man that many would turn to for advice large and small. His presence, wonderful appreciation of humor, and deep care for his family will truly be missed by those that were blessed to be a part of his life. May Cathy and their children find condolence and comfort in the friends and family Stu valued so much. We will always miss you, and remember the great times we had. You are forever in our thoughts and prayers.

Stu will be sorely missed by all his co-workers at the Building Code Commission and more importantly as a dear friend. Always ready with a car story or a boat adventure but we knew his family was his life. You are in our hearts and prayers during this difficult time. We loved you Stu!
